Arthur Kaluma, a former forward for Kansas State, declared his transfer to Texas on Thursday. “Hook ’em,” Kaluma captioned a photo of himself wearing Texas attire and covering his eyes with a cowboy hat on Instagram.

After spending two seasons at Creighton, Kaluma went to Kansas State last year. In 33 games (32 starts), he recorded career highs of 14.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. Over 101 games (39 starts) in three seasons as a collegiate basketball player, Kaluma has averaged 12.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. In preparation for their SEC debut, Kaluma is the most well-known recruit to pledge allegiance to head coach Rodney Terry and the Longhorns this summer.

In addition, they added guards Jayson Kent and Julian Larry from Indiana State’s NIT finalist team, shooting guard Tramon Mark from Arkansas, and explosive point guard Jordan Pope from Oregon State.
