One of the NFL’s most gifted receivers is a member of the Minnesota Vikings. In 2024–2025, Justin Jefferson hopes to return to his Pro Bowl form. On the other hand, Jefferson has been given a significant update regarding his fatherhood off the field.

According to DailyMail.com, a family court judge in New Jersey has confirmed that Jefferson is the father of a baby girl born to his ex-girlfriend Andrea Galea. Judge Aldo J Russo issued the order on June 26, which states that Jefferson and Galea have agreed on an “interim child support obligation.” The details of this arrangement are not disclosed in the judge’s order, which also mentions that the parents will attend private mediation.

According to rumors, Justin Jefferson was accused of pressuring Galea to have an abortion in February of 2024, and he was the target of a paternity case. The previous month, Galea and Jefferson each filed counterclaims against the other.

According to a source that DailyMail was able to receive, Jefferson and Galea first started dating in 2019 while they were both students at LSU. In inquiry baby was born in 2023. Now that Jefferson has been proven to be the father, everything makes more sense.

Justin Jefferson prepares for bounceback 2024-25 season with Vikings

Justin Jefferson made an immediate impact on the Vikings when he joined the team in 2020, racking up 1,400 yards and seven touchdowns, earning him his first Pro Bowl appearance. He maintained his impressive performance the following season and then reached new heights in 2022-23, amassing a career-high 1,809 yards and eight touchdowns, which earned him his first All-Pro honor.

Despite playing only 10 games in the 2023-24 season due to injuries, Jefferson aims to return stronger for the upcoming season. He now faces the challenge of building new chemistry with former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Sam Darnold and ex-Michigan star JJ McCarthy. During the 2024 offseason, Jefferson praised Darnold for his experience and communication skills, believing Darnold will be a great leader for younger players like McCarthy.

“But to have Sam in there, more of a veteran, older mindset. To have JJ [McCarthy] come in and kind of learn from him as well, it’s definitely something that we needed and I think will be great for JJ as well,” Jefferson said on the Rich Eisen Show.

It will be interesting to see how the revamped Vikings squad performs in the upcoming season.
