Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, has not faced many difficulties playing against the Miami Dolphins in the majority of his career. This was evident again on Thursday night, as Allen and the Bills defeated the Dolphins 31-10 in Miami. Dolphins linebacker David Long Jr. tried to slander Allen before a third down early in the second quarter, when the score was still knotted at 7-7. Before he could reply, Allen glanced at Long’s nameplate to confirm who was really talking to him.

Allen ultimately provided support for the move, and the Bills went on to defeat Miami 17-3 during the quarter. Allen has played the Dolphins 13 times in his career and is currently 11-2 against them. He has accumulated 3,502 throwing yards, 34 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in those contests. Allen didn’t have to do much as the Bills easily defeated them on Thursday; he finished with just 139 passing yards and a score on 19 passing attempts.

The player who tried to smear Allen’s face, Long, is in his second season of play in the NFL in 2024 with Miami. With the Dolphins, Long had a career-best season, starting all 17 games and racking up 113 tackles, including nine tackles for loss.
