The 2024 season has seen a number of setbacks for Florida State football, beginning with three straight losses to Georgia Tech, Boston College, and Memphis.
After winning a conference championship in 2023 and going undefeated in the regular season, the Seminoles were expected to perform well this year. In all honesty, the vast majority of those players who contributed to that team joined the NFL.
After Florida State’s loss to the Tigers, it’s back to the drawing board (assuming it wasn’t after Boston College). Mike Norvell is the head football coach, and he is paid to win games. We talked about DJ Uiagalelei, the quarterback, being on the anticipated depth chart.
My ideas differ from those of the coaching staff. For the rest of the season, including this weekend’s game against California, I think the young movement should be in order. Let’s talk about some younger players who might infuse some offensive vigor.
