The timing of the event is definitely intriguing, even though I do believe it was the appropriate decision. Former defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich steps in to take his position.

If Ulbrich performs well, he has the chance to take over as the team’s long-term head coach, and I hope he can. The reports that Saleh was fired because of his ancestry or religion, however, have been one repulsive aspect of this news cycle.
