The Seattle Seahawks made adjustments to their practice squad on Tuesday, signing defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna and center Mike Novitsky. Both players are familiar faces, having previously spent time with the organization.
In a corresponding move, tight end N’Keal Harry was released from the practice squad. Harry, a former first-round pick, had joined the team earlier in the season but now finds himself back on the free-agent market as the Seahawks shift their roster focus.
Quinton Bohanna brings experience to Seattle’s defensive front. A sixth-round pick by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2021 NFL Draft, Bohanna has played in 34 career games and started 13 of them. His journey has included stints with the Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans, and a brief spell with the Seahawks earlier this season.
Bohanna appeared in one game for Seattle in 2024 after being elevated from the practice squad, showcasing his ability to provide depth on the defensive line.
Mike Novitsky, meanwhile, is an undrafted rookie out of Kansas who initially joined the Seahawks in May. Although he was waived during training camp, the team has opted to bring him back to the practice squad. Novitsky’s return reflects the Seahawks’ ongoing efforts to bolster their depth at the center position and develop young talent.
These roster moves are part of Seattle’s ongoing strategy to maintain flexibility and depth as the season progresses. Bohanna’s proven ability to contribute on the defensive line and Novitsky’s potential as a developmental center make them valuable additions to the practice squad.
By making these adjustments, the Seahawks continue to refine their roster in preparation for the critical stretch of the season ahead, ensuring they have the necessary resources to address injuries or performance needs.
