Four-star wide receiver Dejerrian ‘DJ’ Miller has committed to the Kentucky Wildcats, adding a significant boost to their 2025 football recruiting class. Miller announced his decision on Tuesday, providing some much-needed momentum after Kentucky recently lost Ja’Kayden Ferguson, another wide receiver, who decommitted from the program.
In response to Ferguson’s departure, Kentucky heightened its efforts to secure a top-tier wide receiver, and their persistence paid off with Miller’s pledge. The Illinois native shared his commitment via Twitter, solidifying his future in Lexington.
Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 190 pounds, Miller offers impressive size and versatility, making him a valuable addition to the Wildcats’ offense, which is poised to lose star players Dane Key and Barion Brown to the NFL Draft after this season.
Miller narrowed his choices to eight schools, including Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas State, Michigan State, and Miami (FL), before ultimately choosing Kentucky. He also fielded offers from other notable programs such as Ole Miss, UCLA, Texas A&M, and USC. Ranked as the 183rd overall prospect in the 2025 class by Rivals, Miller is considered one of the top pass-catching talents still available.
Head coach Mark Stoops and his staff have demonstrated their ability to adapt quickly, securing Miller’s commitment to address a pressing need in the roster. With Miller in the fold, Kentucky is building a strong foundation for its future offensive strategy.
