Raiders GM Tom Telesco Signs Former Draft Pick Amid Injury Woes
The Las Vegas Raiders continue to grapple with injuries, losing another key offensive contributor for the season. Running back Sincere McCormick, who had recently emerged as a reliable option with a 4.7-yard average per carry, suffered a significant ankle injury during Week 14 against the Atlanta Falcons. The team has since placed McCormick on Injured Reserve, officially ending his season.
This setback is particularly disappointing for McCormick, as it marked his first opportunity as the lead back. His strong performances had positioned him as a potential contender for the starting role next season. Despite McCormick’s contributions, the Raiders’ ground game has struggled all season, averaging just 78.1 rushing yards per game—the worst in the NFL. With McCormick and Zamir White now on Injured Reserve, the team will rely on Chris Collier, promoted from the practice squad, and possibly Spiller to carry the load.
