Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury has had a successful first season in Washington; quarterback Jayden Daniels is the clear favourite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year, and his offence is ranked fourth in yards and sixth in points.
After a disastrous four seasons as the Cardinals’ head coach, Kingsbury’s performance in Washington has made him one of the top head-coaching possibilities in this offseason’s hiring cycle. He appears open to another opportunity.
Kingsbury declined to comment on any interviews this year, but when asked about the topic on Thursday, he stated that he would like to return to coaching “at some point,” according to Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post.
