Congratulations To Lamar Jackson As He Becomes The First Ever Ravens Player To….

Following Saturday’s historic NFL playoff performance by the quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, Lamar Jackson, the NFL aptly characterized Jackson and his career.

The Ravens dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers 28-14 thanks to Jackson’s leadership. The quarterback was able to establish a connection with his receivers and ran the ball 15 times for 81 yards. He completed 16 of his 21 passes for 175 yards and two scores.

While doing so, Jackson achieved a significant professional milestone. Following the game, the NFL announced that the Ravens quarterback has rushed for 602 yards in his career, which is the most ever by a quarterback in postseason history.

The National Football League captioned an Instagram image by Jackson with the words “Gr8tness,” with “No. 8” standing for his uniform number.

Importantly, the record was shattered on Sunday by Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who had set it less than 24 hours earlier, by Lamar Jackson. In their 31-7 victory over the Denver Broncos, Allen ran eight times for 46 yards, bringing his postseason rushing yardage total to 609.

Whatever the case may be, Jackson’s career achievements are screaming greatness. Already in football lore, he is considered a top-tier quarterback and, by many accounts, the game’s greatest dual-threat signal-caller.

Jackson and Allen will face again in the Divisional Round, and this time the Ravens quarterback has an opportunity to break the record for most quarterback rushing yards in postseason history and solidify his place in NFL greatness.
