NFL insider Ari Meirov on X reports that wide receiver Justyn Ross has been brought up by the Chiefs from the practice squad. When the squad plays Buffalo in the Championship Game, the third-year receiver will be on the active roster.

Ross’s promotion is quite unexpected. The Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans in the divisional round without any injuries to their pass catchers. Additionally, Ross hasn’t played for KC since Week 10. This season, he has only appeared in two Chiefs games and has not caught a single pass.

Ross caught six catches for 53 scoreless yards while playing in ten games for Kansas City in 2023. But in October, he was arrested for domestic abuse, and as a result, he received a six-game suspension.
