At DodgerFest on Saturday at Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder and All-Star Teoscar Hernández made it clear what he wanted: to see Kiké Hernández back in a Dodgers uniform.
Teoscar Hernández stated, “Everyone is waiting for that news to come up, to see Kiké back as a Dodger.” “I hope Kiké returns.”
Not just Teoscar Hernández wants the fan favorite and super utility guy to return. During Saturday’s celebrations, the fans also voiced their wish for him to return.
As general manager Brandon Gomes and head of baseball operations Andrew Friedman took questions, the audience in front of them started chanting Kiké’s name repeatedly.
Friedman’s response transformed the chant into applause.
Friedman declared, “The door will never be closed on Kiké.”
Gomes continued, “Obviously, we’d never close the door to Kiké.” Making sure he and his family believe it’s the ideal place for him is, in my opinion, a big part of it. However, we will have such discussions.
Kiké Hernández has also not held back from discussing his ideal travel destination.
Immediately following the World Series, Kiké Hernández stated, “I would love to be back,” at a partnership event at Raising Canes. “With all the pitching reinforcements, I genuinely think that this team will be even better next year, even though we won the World Series a few days ago.”
Kiké Hernández has played for the Dodgers on many occasions, with a stint in Boston as a free agent in between. The Dodgers’ front management has stated that a reunion in Los Angeles is more likely, despite reports that the Yankees have expressed interest in signing him.
In an interview with The Shop, he stated, “Having a fan base that embraces me and loves me the way that they do was a humbling experience for me from the moment I got to L.A.” “The assistance. As a guy, I’m probably a better player than the stats on the back of my card indicate. You would believe I am the best player on the field every single day I step onto a baseball field because of how much they appreciate me and the fact that I bring more to the table than just my stats.
