West Ham star Vladimir Coufal locks down his social media after abuse over Man United incident

Football and social media are inextricably linked in the current game.

And it’s not necessarily a good thing—just ask any of the stars that were on show during this past weekend’s match between West Ham and Manchester United.

Man United soundly defeated the Hammers 3-0 at Old Trafford.

However, the Red Devils and Erik ten Hag paid a price for the game when they lost their returning star, Lisandro Martinez, to an injury.

The little Argentine defender will now miss eight weeks of action due to a medial collateral ligament injury, Man United has revealed.

Following the Man United incident, Coufal shuts down social media.

And some irate Manchester United supporters have laid the blame directly at the feet of one Hammers player in particular.
