Breaking News: Swansea City player facing serious injury challenge, Hopefully when it settles down we won't have a problem and there's not much tear like that

Tomorrow night, Swansea City will play Leeds United in an attempt to build on their impressive victory against Hull City.

Swansea City shrug off injury concern over key defender ahead of Leeds United challenge - Leeds Live

Prior to their televised match against Leeds United, Swansea City manager Luke Williams dismissed worries over Kyle Naughton’s injury. After taking a hit during the second half of Saturday’s victory against Hull City, the seasoned right-back was substituted out.

But Williams stated: “I believe Naughton is experiencing cramps. Hopefully, after things calms down, there won’t be any issues and there won’t be any tears or anything of the kind.

“However, what a player. What a teammate. He is undoubtedly in the running since, in the event that it is cramping, he will bounce back swiftly and be prepared to compete again.”I’ll let you know if it’s something more serious, but because he’s such a gifted athlete, let’s hope it’s just cramps and he can get better soon.”

If Naughton was injured for tomorrow’s match against United—which will be shown live on Sky Sports—it would be a major setback. Due to injuries, Williams already lacks the services of Josh Key, Harrison Ashby, and Harry Darling.

Over the weekend, Williams had his first league victory as Swans manager. Since October, it was their first road clean sheet.

“I was being honest when I said there was a strong positive energy in the changing room going into this (Hull) game,” Williams, the manager’s replacement, stated.
We then performed as though we were confident, and maybe now that we have a solid outcome and a clean sheet, we are even more confident. In order to go up against even more formidable opponents, we must attempt to harness that right now.”
