Great News: Memphis Tigers come back to back and pay a terrible revenge and David Jones led the Tigers in dominant aggressive comeback

WMC – Memphis, Tennessee The Memphis Tigers won their tenth home game of the season, defeating the Tulane Green Wave 90-78.

Memphis now stands at 18-6 overall and 7-4 in the American Athletic Conference after the victory.

At the end, David Jones recorded a double-double with 10 rebounds and 23 points. Nae’Qwan Tomlin ended with 16 points, while Jahvon Quinerly finished with 18.

On January 21, Tulane defeated the Tigers, who were ranked 10th at the time, 81-79.

The Tigers began the game on a 16-0 run to take a 19-point lead in the opening ten minutes of play, hoping to exact retribution.

Memphis’ formidable ball movement and defensive pressure had them in complete control of the opening half. The Tigers recorded 12 assists, which resulted in six three-pointers, and forced nine turnovers from Tulane.

With 13 points on 5-5 shooting in the first half, David Jones led the Tigers. Jahvon Quinerly scored nine points with three three-pointers, while Nae’Qwan Tomlin scored ten.

At the half, Memphis was ahead 46–29.

Both sides were combative with one another early in the second half. Both sides were called for a total of six technical fouls.

It spurred the Tigers on, and they extended their advantage to 25 points.

Memphis prevailed as Tulane tried a late rally, but it was too little, too late.

Memphis is scheduled to return to their road game against North Texas. ESPN+ will air the game on Thursday at 7 p.m.
