Leeds United And Southampton Target Joel Piroe Tipped For Swansea Exit

Joel Piroe is increasingly likely to move on from Swansea City before the end of the transfer window amidst serious interest from Leeds United, while Southampton are also keen, according to The Athletic.
Several clubs are interested in signing Piroe and Leeds are putting in a real effort to sign him in the coming days.

And the forward is now increasingly likely to leave Swansea before the transfer window closes next week.

Leeds are actively working on a deal to snap up Piroe and take him to Elland Road before the end of the window.

Southampton are also interested in Piroe, with Russell Martin well aware of his talents, but Leeds are desperate to get their hands on Piroe following a difficult summer.

Leeds value him at around £8m to £10m but there are suggestions that they could offer as much as £15m for the striker.

The Yorkshire giants are expected to face some trouble in agreeing personal terms with the striker but the club are keen to get a deal over the line.

The Dutchman scored 19 times in the Championship last season and has been in demand at several clubs this summer.

He is in the final year of his contract at Swansea and has so far resister an offer of a two-year extension from the Championship club.
