According to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Chicago Bulls have strengthened their roster by signing guard/forward Javonte Green to a 10-day contract.

At 6-foot-4 and aged 30, Javonte Green returns to the Chicago Bulls, a team he’s familiar with, having played for them from 2020 to 2023.

This season, Green has been active with the Santa Cruz Warriors, the G League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors.

During his stint with the Bulls last season, Green demonstrated his capabilities in 32 games, averaging 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. He boasted an impressive shooting percentage of 56% from the field and 32% from three-point range.

In the 2023-24 season, Green initially signed a training camp deal with the Golden State Warriors but was subsequently waived. He then joined the Santa Cruz Warriors, where he posted notable averages of 12.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.3 steals across 10 games.

With prior NBA experience with the Bulls and the Boston Celtics, Green brings valuable knowledge and skills to the Bulls’ lineup.

Currently, the Bulls hold a 34-36 record, placing them ninth in the Eastern Conference standings. As they strive for a playoff berth, Green’s addition bolsters their roster depth, potentially enhancing their postseason prospects.
