Top European manager has just declined Spartak Moscow for Milan

According to reports from Russia, Maurizio Sarri declined an offer from Spartak Moscow as he awaits the possibility of taking over the helm at Milan.

The 65-year-old Italian coach surprised many when he resigned from his position at Lazio last month, following a surprising 2-1 defeat to Udinese, concluding his three-year tenure at the club. Since then, Sarri has been linked with several clubs, including Fiorentina and Napoli.

Milan, meanwhile, remains uncertain about the future of current coach Stefano Pioli after a lackluster first half of the season. While recent performances have shown improvement, doubts persist, and a managerial change could occur at the end of the season.

Sarri waits for Milan?

This morning, reports emerged stating that Spartak Moscow reached out to Maurizio Sarri to inquire about his availability as they contemplate a managerial change. However, the club’s advances were rebuffed, with Sarri allegedly indicating that he intends to take charge of Milan in the summer.

While media reports in Italy have proposed various candidates to potentially replace Stefano Pioli at Milan in the summer, such as Thiago Motta and Roberto De Zerbi, Sarri hasn’t been a prominent suggestion in recent discussions.
