Breaking News: Saints’ Tyrann Mathieu gives key update regarding Orleans super star

For the next season, the New Orleans Saints have great confidence in their secondary. They reach a new height when Marshon Lattimore is in good health.

In the midst of a lot of trade rumors, Lattimore has persevered in trying to make a comeback in 2023 after suffering a major injury. As he gets closer to his late 20s, he is determined to prove to the league that he is still an exceptional coverage player with a huge enthusiasm for the game.

Saints’ Tyrann Mathieu gave an intriguing update on Lattimore

Mathieu covered a wide range of fascinating subjects on Robert Griffin III’s show, RG3, and The Ones, for Saints supporters. He talked about how Lattimore has been getting ready for the next season.

“I’ve spoken with him a couple of times over the off-season, and he seems eager to resume because nobody is mentioning him. Among the top corners in this league is him. He is undoubtedly driven, and I have no doubt that this year will see him well prepared.”

According to Mathieu, the trade “rumors” circulating this offseason haven’t affected Lattimore. The Pro Bowl cornerback is more determined than ever to perform well and maintain his health. Lattimore has missed 16 games in the past two years with the Saints, but if he stays healthy in 2024, they boast one of the top cornerback groups in football.

The Saints already had Lattimore and Paulson Adebo on the outside, with Adebo impressing as the top CB in 2023. They also drafted Kool-Aid McKinstry in the second round of this year’s draft, expecting him to contribute immediately. Additionally, there’s Alontae Taylor, a young defender with some inconsistency but significant potential.

Mathieu’s update is crucial for New Orleans. Lattimore appears unfazed by any perceived tension and is focused on enhancing the team’s defense and proving his status as a top CB in the league.
