**Before move-in day, **Bama247 checks in with summer enrollee**
Jay Lindsey has always been an Alabama football fan, and this fall, he will finally be able to fulfill his ambition by joining the Crimson Tide. On Sunday, the in-state tight end will check into his freshman residence hall and get ready to play college football.
In August of last year, Lindsey made his commitment to Alabama official. He then signed his National Letter of Intent in December, and he stuck with it until the coaching change. After winning AISA Lineman of the Year, Lindsey talked about his choice to stick with the new coaching staff in a late January interview.
“The relationship was there right from the start. The dialogue flowed easily and naturally. They’re all really kind, affable guys. Coach DeBoer is unique; everyone who sees him falls in love. Lindsey remarked, “I believe that everyone at Alabama already adores him.”
Lindsey was just interviewed by Bama247 to find out how he’s getting ready for his first year. As he prepares for his debut season with the Crimson Tide, he discusses his objectives and outlook.
