REPORT: Josh Allen Makes A Surprising Statement About Retirement

Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, is under immense pressure to win the team’s first Super Bowl. This pressure has only increased following another devastating playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, against whom Allen is now 0-3 in the postseason.

Not what Bills supporters would think, Allen recently revealed in an interview how far he is willing to go to win this club a Super Bowl.

Allen recently appeared on Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take” and mentioned that he would retire tomorrow if it guaranteed the Bills would win the Super Bowl.

Josh Allen #17 of the Buffalo Bills looks on before the game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium on October 22, 2023 in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

This strange situation only arose because Allen was on the show with Blake Griffin, another frequent Pardon My Take guest who recently retired and witnessed his old club defeat the Dallas Mavericks in an NBA Finals a few weeks prior.

Since he wouldn’t receive a ring, it would seem to be a painful occasion, but Allen’s quick answer shows how much he wants to win a title for this community.

In addition to having a career-high 18 interceptions to go along with his 29 touchdowns last season—his lowest number of passes since his first full season as a starter in 2019—Allen didn’t enjoy the best statistical season of his career.

He did, however, establish himself as the team’s de facto goal-line back and run for a career-high 15 touchdowns.

Allen should be able to win a championship for the Bills without having to retire like Blake Griffin did.
