Jontavius Wyman, a defensive back from the class of 2026, has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs.
The Georgia Bulldogs have been actively securing commitments for their 2025 recruiting class, and now they are also building momentum for the 2026 class. Recently, defensive back Jontavius Wyman announced his commitment to Georgia.
Hailing from Jonesboro High School in Georgia, Wyman is ranked as the 154th-best player in the nation, the 12th-best defensive back, and the 19th-best player in Georgia for the 2026 class, according to 247 Sports composite rankings. He received an offer from Georgia earlier this year, along with interest from several other top programs. Wyman joins quarterback Jared Curtis as the second commit in Georgia’s 2026 class.
Curtis, who committed in March, is a five-star prospect, ranked as the eighth-best player in the nation and the top quarterback for the 2026 class. While the Bulldogs have much work to do before finalizing their 2026 recruiting class, the early commitments of Wyman and Curtis signal a strong start.
