Just one thing stopping Divock Origi from joining West Ham United
Divock Origi could scupper a move to West Ham United from AC Milan because of his wage demands.
According to a report from Calciomercato, Divock Origi earns a large salary at Milan, and would want to at least match that in order to move to West Ham in the summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old earns an annual salary of €4.5 million (£3.85 million) at the San Siro – roughly £75k-a-week.
West Ham have been chasing the former Liverpool man for quite some time now – and were most recently linked with him just a couple of weeks ago.
With Hammers boss David Moyes in desperate need of a new striker, Origi would be a decent option for the Scot. There is seemingly a very big problem though…

Origi’s £75k-a-week wage demands are currently scuppering a potential move to the Hammers according to Calciomercato.
I think that the Belgian would actually be a decent signing for us, and he could be available for as little as £12 million this summer according to Sempre Milan.
He is proven at the very highest level and possesses the attributes that Moyes usually looks for in a striker.
£75k-a-week actually isn’t that much money in this day and age, relatively speaking for Premier League players.
So I don’t actually believe that those demands are stopping Divock Origi from joining West Ham.
I would suggest that Moyes has another striker in mind this summer, perhaps Youssef En-Nesyri.
However, I wouldn’t completely rule out Origi arriving at the London Stadium before the transfer window closes either.
