Fasusi needs in order to make the best decision for him

One five-star candidate has committed to the Oklahoma Sooners’ 2025 recruiting class. Brent Venables, the head football coach, seemed to reprimand him on Tuesday!

Regardless of position, Michael Fasusi is regarded as one of the Top 20 players in the next cycle. Back in August, he committed to playing for the Sooners.

But that doesn’t mean he stopped recruiting altogether. Texas and Texas A&M are among the schools still showing interest in the offensive lineman, who is from the Lonestar State.

According to reports, the big man wants to visit every campus to see a home game before the season ends because the college football season is almost over. Brent Venables is not happy about it!

The coach made a subtle swipe at his best prospect, raising doubts about his commitment to the team he has already committed to play for.

Dabo Swinney, Venables’ former boss, also has this view. For his dedicated players, the coach has a “no visitation” policy. In essence, he is saying, “Avoid making a commitment until you are absolutely certain.” It appears that Fasusi is unsure!

Michael Fasusi is reportedly planning to attend the Longhorns’ game against SEC opponent Kentucky this weekend in Austin. Even though Oklahoma is hosting Alabama in Norman this Saturday, he would still pick that game.

Additionally, according to those rumors, he will be in College Station the following week to watch the Aggies play Texas in a major rivalry game that could have an impact on the College Football Playoffs. Fasusi may need those travels to help him decide what’s best for him.
Will a rival be able to snatch the five-star linemen away, or will Oklahoma keep him on board? It’s likely that Brent Venables’ remarks didn’t assist his case if Fasusi is genuinely reconsidering.
