Milan brilliant player to make surprise move to premier league before deadline day as deal is at closing

Former Liverpool striker Divock Origi could be about to join newly-promoted Premier League side Burnley.

Origi has had a terrible time since leaving Liverpool one year ago. Having secured a good-looking move to AC Milan, the 28-year-old failed to fire in Italy and is now set to be moved on.

With Milan looking to get his wages off the books, TalkSPORT journalist Alex Crook has claimed that a transfer to Burnley could now ‘gather momentum.’

“It’s not a path that’s often been trodden in the history of football is it, AC Milan to Burnley!” laughed the journalist. “There is a connection, Vincent Kompany played alongside Origi in the Belgian national team.

“I think at the moment Burnley are looking at a loan deal, AC Milan would prefer a permanent move. This is one that could gather momentum between now and Friday.”
Origi eyeing Burnley move
At this point, any move for Origi should be considered a good one. He’s even been booed during his time at Milan, by his own supporters!

That’s no environment for a player who was so revered at Liverpool.

As Reds fans will know, Divock is player who really needs to feel love to perform at his best. At Liverpool, he knew his role perfectly. He was well-aware that he wasn’t the main man, and was comfortable playing a bit-part role.
Obviously, this wouldn’t be the case at Burnley. A Champions League and Premier League winner like the Belgian would be expected to lead the line every game for the Clarets.

Although this may not suit him exactly, Origi also very clearly has the talent to be a success under Kompany.

Sadio Mane called him the best finisher he’d ever played with, and there was a reason Liverpool bet £10m on him as a 19-year-old.

So, although it may be a bit of less-trodden path and a bit of a surprise, we’d be all for this. Origi would get a heck of a reception back at Anfield, and for that alone, we’d love to see him back in England.
