David Sullivan makes David Moyes sack decision at West Ham United amid turmoil
David Sullivan has made his decision on whether or not to sack David Moyes as West Ham close in on signing Ajax midfielder Edson Alvarez, according to the Telegraph.

According to the English newspaper on Monday (7 August), the Hammers owner has no intention of sacking Moyes before the league opener against Bournemouth.

However, despite making progress in the Alvarez deal, the possibility of Moyes walking out of the club cannot be ruled out either.
This may be the first season where the manager is sacked before even a ball is kicked and that’s the sorry state of affairs at the London Stadium.

With less than a week to go for the new campaign to begin, the Hammers are yet to make their first senior signing.
After losing their best player and captain in Declan Rice, many believed that it was going to be a summer of rebuilding at the club.

This would mean a number of players coming in through the door but that, unfortunately for the Irons fans, is not what has happened.

There is plenty of money to spend, perhaps more than what’s been there in recent transfer windows and Gianluca Scamacca’s sale is further set to rake in funds.

However, there is no thorough planning on the right way forward and Moyes is right to be sceptical about what’s going on at the club.

In other West Ham news, the club have now opened advanced talks with a Premier League player who appears to be open on leaving his side this summer.
