Alex Bregman expressed his gratitude to the Houston Astros, his teammates, and the fans as his time with the team came to an end. He thanked the organization for believing in him, pushing him to excel, and giving him the chance to fulfill his dream. Bregman also acknowledged his teammates, calling them family and cherishing the memories they created together. He extended his appreciation to the fans for their unwavering support, emphasizing that he would never take his time in Houston for granted.

Bregman played a key role in the Astros’ success, alongside stars like Carlos Correa and Jose Altuve. Together, they helped Houston reach seven consecutive American League Championship Series and win two World Series titles between 2017 and 2023. He was one of only five players to be part of both championship-winning teams.

Over his career with Houston, Bregman established himself as a top-tier third baseman, earning two All-Star selections, an All-Star Game MVP award in 2018, and a Gold Glove in 2024. His standout season came in 2019 when he hit a career-high 41 home runs, posted a 1.015 OPS, and finished as the AL MVP runner-up.

The 30-year-old has compiled a .272 batting average, .366 on-base percentage, and .483 slugging percentage, with 191 home runs, 663 RBIs, and 694 runs scored. Beyond his on-field contributions, Bregman made an impact in the community through his Bregman Cares charity. His efforts included raising awareness for autism, donating bats to underprivileged schools, and spearheading the #FEEDHOU campaign, which raised $2 million during the COVID-19 pandemic.
