1. Austin Hooper
During the 2025 offseason, Kyle Pitts remains a rumored trade target. The Falcons will require an offensive upgrade over Charlie Woerner if they decide to cut ties with the pass catcher. The backup tight-end is a great blocker and solid part of the Atlanta offense. However, you aren’t going to rely on Woerner to help Michael Penix Jr. in his first season as a starter.
Austin Hooper, a former Falcon, would be ideal for that post. Hooper continues to produce despite having been a part of a few disastrous squads. It makes sense for both parties to sign Hooper if the Falcons decide to let Pitts go.
2. Calais Campbell
Does Campbell intend to play in the upcoming season? If the veteran wants to continue playing, he can choose where he wants to settle because he is still playing at a high level. It was difficult to promote a reunion because the one season spent in Atlanta was a bust. However, Atlanta may be prepared to pay a little bit more than market value for the veteran’s return because they are keen to improve the pass rush. This is the most sensible fit for both parties out of all the ones on the list.
