While waiting for the announcement from the two clubs, Lega Serie A have made it official that Luka Jovic has moved from Fiorentina to AC Milan.
As the tweet below shows, Jovic’s move to AC Milan from Fiorentina is official as the contract of the Serbian centre-forward has been deposited in the final hour of the summer transfer window.
The website claims that it is a ‘definitive’ transfer, but in reality the move to the Rossoneri is on loan for a year. The wording on the Serie A website is due to the fact that the player’s contract expires in June 2024.

However, Fiorentina have the possibility of exercising a two-year renewal option which means that Milan would then have to pay a fee next summer.
