It has been reported that Milan midfielder Rade Krunic will miss time due to an injury received during his team’s 1-0 win over Hellas Verona on Saturday afternoon.
After being seen gripping his leg in pain, the Bosnian was carried off 20 minutes into the second half of Saturday’s match at San Siro. Ruben Loftus-Cheek was promptly brought in to replace him by Stefano Pioli.
Krunic had medical testing on Monday morning, which revealed a right hamstring lesion, according to Calciomercato.com.
According to the article, Milan will re-evaluate the situation in 10 days, but the early indications are that Krunic will miss the next three Champions League matches against Cagliari, Lazio, and Borussia Dortmund.
The international break follows shortly after, although Krunic is unlikely to be fit enough to return before then. A more likely comeback date is October 22, when the Rossoneri visit Juventus at San Siro.
