Ruebyn Ricardo has been chosen as the referee for Rovers’ upcoming match against Mansfield Town on Tuesday. Ricardo, who hails from Leicestershire, has officiated in ten matches this season, with the majority of them taking place in the National League and Premier League 2. In these games, he has shown 31 yellow cards and issued two red cards.

It’s worth noting that Ricardo has not yet received a full promotion to officiate in the English Football League (EFL). Up to this point, he has refereed only one game in Sky Bet League Two and one previous match in the EFL Trophy. Consequently, this will mark his first time serving as a referee in a game involving Rovers.

During Tuesday’s match, Ruebyn Ricardo will be supported by assistant referees Matthew Sowerby and Richard Wigglesworth, with Will Finnie taking on the role of fourth official.
