Sunderland Set To Finalis Deal With Club For Another Brilliant Player Agreement Reached
QPR have completed the signing of defender Steve Cook from Nottingham Forest.
Cook, 32, was not Forest’s plans and Rangers have been in negotiations to take him to west London.
He has now agreed a two-year contract and Rangers say they have signed him for an undisclosed fee.
He backed out of a move to Loftus Road to join Forest from Bournemouth last year.
Rangers boss Gareth Ainsworth has been desperate to sign an experienced centre-back as Jimmy Dunne and Clarke Clarke-Salter are both out injured.
Cook will train with his new team-mates on Thursday and is expected to make his debut at Cardiff this weekend.
Jack Colback, meanwhile, is continuing to build up his fitness and is expected to make his R’s debut against Ipswich a week on Saturday.
