Newcastle United received some positive news regarding their injured players ahead of today’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace at 3 pm.
Initially, there were concerns about Alexander Isak’s availability as he had missed training following his withdrawal from international duty. However, according to NewcastleWorld, Isak has made it to St James’ Park and is expected to be part of the matchday squad, with Callum Wilson leading the attack.
Another encouraging development is the return of Joelinton, who had been sidelined due to a hamstring injury that he picked up less than five minutes after coming on as a substitute in the Burnley match.

Head coach Eddie Howe expressed confidence during Friday’s press conference that Joelinton would be able to participate in the game, and this has now been confirmed. In fact, the 27-year-old himself posted a customized matchday graphic on his Instagram story this morning to signal his return.
