The Seattle Seahawks threw everything they had at San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey on Thursday. The Seahawks were still unable to stop McCaffrey, but they did inflict significant damage on him.
On Thanksgiving, the 49ers defeated the Seahawks 31-13 at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington.
In the victory, McCaffrey was as dominant as ever. To lead San Francisco’s offensive onslaught, the 49ers standout carried for 114 yards on 19 carries and scored twice.

The Seahawks’ defense, on the other hand, did not make things easy for McCaffrey. On the NBC broadcast, the 27-year-old running back was spotted with multiple scrapes and bruises. He even went viral after being seen adjusting his helmet with a handful of screwdrivers.
On Friday, McCaffrey’s fiancee Olivia Culpo posted the aftermath of the beating the running back took against the Seahawks.
McCaffrey was seen in Culpo’s Instagram story with several cuts on his left arm and abdomen. He also had a huge bruise on his right arm.
Running back is one of football’s most physically demanding positions. When McCaffrey and the rest of the NFL decided to pursue a career in the NFL, they understood exactly what they were getting themselves into. But it’s still startling to observe the physical toll the sport exacts on its participants.
McCaffrey’s battle scars weren’t even the worst seen on an NFL broadcast this week. Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins went viral on social media after suffering a nasty gash on his right arm against the New York Jets on Friday.
