Sky Sports F1 analyst Ted Kravitz has weighed in on the reported discussions between Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull, cautioning viewers against confiding in Red Bull team principal Christian Horner.
Horner had disclosed to the Daily Mail that a member of Hamilton’s team had reached out to him regarding a potential move to Red Bull, a claim Hamilton later dismissed as Horner ‘stirring things.’
Horner confirmed on Sky Sports F1 that it was Anthony Hamilton, Lewis’s father, who initiated contact but downplayed the significance, noting Sergio Perez’s existing contract until 2024.
Kravitz, in his segment ‘Ted’s Notebook’ in Abu Dhabi, humorously advised against sharing secrets with Horner, highlighting the irony of Horner divulging the details of private conversations.
He questioned whether Horner sought permission from Anthony Hamilton before making the information public and suggested a general life tip: avoid sharing secrets with Christian Horner, given his propensity to reveal them, perhaps jokingly attributing it to a lack of a statute of limitations or questioning whether Horner consulted Anthony before the interview with the Daily Mail.
