A major win for AC Milan as they near a signing of a famous London Star

AC Milan have re-opened contacts with Chelsea after the deals for Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic, this time eyeing a deal for striker Armando Broja.

That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who say contacts have ‘resumed’ over the striker and could ‘go quickly’ thanks to a strong relationship between the two clubs.

The newspaper explains that Milan remain keen on Broja after being linked in the past and have now opened talks to try and make him their third signing from Chelsea this summer.

They believe that there is a deal there to be done for the player, who has recovered from an injury that has seen him absent since December but does not appear to be in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.
He was absent from the squad in the opening day draw with Liverpool and might have a better chance of regular playing time away from Stamford Bridge.

Milan can offer that to him as a deputy to Olivier Giroud and are now looking to propose a loan deal with a right to buy to Chelsea.

Whether the Blues will be interested in that isn’t mentioned but given they’ve been heavily focused on sales as they attempt to balance the books, it would not be surprising if they push for a permanent exit first.
