West Brom want to sign Liverpool starlet Conor Bradley in January loan deal
West Brom is reportedly interested in securing a loan deal for Liverpool’s emerging defensive talent, Conor Bradley, during the upcoming January transfer window. According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool is open to loaning out the 20-year-old right-back, who has caught the eye of manager Jurgen Klopp with impressive performances in training and with the Under-21 team this season.
Several clubs, including Burnley, Leeds, and Middlesbrough, have expressed interest in acquiring Bradley on loan, with up to a dozen teams reportedly reaching out to Liverpool about the possibility.
Despite West Brom facing significant injury challenges this season, bolstering defensive depth is considered a top priority for the club in the January transfer window. With a potential takeover in the works, the availability of funds for permanent signings remains uncertain. Consequently, exploring the loan market for promising young players like Bradley is seen as a viable strategy.
Given West Brom’s history of effectively managing player development under coach Carlos Corberan, Liverpool may be inclined to send Bradley to The Hawthorns. The prospect of regular playing time, competition with Darnell Furlong, and the opportunity to work under an accomplished coach like Corberan could make the loan deal attractive to all parties.
While acknowledging the potential challenges in finalizing the deal, West Brom understands the importance of making strategic moves in January to maintain their promotion push. The hope is that negotiations will prove successful and that Bradley could contribute positively to West Brom’s campaign.
