Auburn’s most committed prospect in the 2025 recruiting cycle is four-star defensive lineman Malik Autry, who made his commitment to the Tigers on February 1, 2023, making it the lengthiest commitment thus far. Despite hailing from Opelika, the 6-6, 280-pound player has witnessed a surge in interest from other programs since then.

In the face of numerous recruiting overtures, Autry has remained steadfast in his loyalty to the Tigers, actively promoting them on social media and making multiple visits to the campus. This weekend, he is set to return to Auburn, joining a group of high-priority prospects exploring Hugh Freeze’s program for the 2025 cycle.

Contrary to his exclusive visit to Auburn, a report by Tom Loy from 247Sports reveals that Autry plans to extend his visits this month by heading to Gainesville on January 20. Despite committing to Auburn, Autry has frequented the Gators on multiple occasions, presenting them as a significant contender for the highly skilled defensive lineman.

According to the 247Sports composite ranking, Autry holds the 222nd position overall and is ranked as the 24th defensive lineman. Additionally, he is recognized as the 14th top player from Alabama in the same ranking.
