The Buffalo Bills have a sturdy offensive line with a lot of continuity.
Two of their linemen are slated to be free agents after the 2025 season, though.

ESPN’s Aaron Schatz writes that they should try and at least re-sign left guard David Edwards (although he isn’t opposed to a contract for center Connor McGovern, either).
“The Bills have two veterans on their offensive line entering free agency in 2026, and it would be a good idea to get at least one of them nailed down for an extra couple of years,” Schatz writes. “I’m going with Edwards over center Connor McGovern, but the Bills should get by with either deal or both. Edwards was 16th among qualifying guards in pass block win rate (93.5%) last season and was also above average in run block win rate (73.1%). He’ll be 28 during the 2025 season, so he still has plenty of prime left in his career.”
Edwards’ current deal was for two years and $6 million. He’ll make the majority of that ($3.76 million) in 2025.
The 6-foot-6, 308-pound Edwards was originally a fifth-round pick by the Rams in 2019.
He won a Super Bowl as part of his four seasons with Los Angeles.
In two seasons in Buffalo, Edwards has played 33 games. He didn’t start at all in 2023, but then started all 16 of his appearances in 2024.
Edwards is 28 years old and won’t turn 29 until next March.
It’d make a lot of sense for the Bills to keep him around.
